Vilamendhoo Celebrates International Whale Shark Day

Today marks the 6th annual International Whale Shark Day which celebrates and raise awareness about the majestic creatures that are most commonly seen around the South Ari Atoll of the Maldives. 


The Vilamendhoo team and in-house guests honoured Whale Sharks with a series of activities, including creative Slogan Decoration on the beach with a large-scale sand Whale Shark, an informative Presentation on the species and conservation efforts and a Special Whale Shark Excursion.


Vilamendhoo takes pride in the unique marine life and in the daily conscious effort to protect, preserve and enhance the House Reef with all its inhabitants.
