TaZa Introduces Two New Products to Its Portfolio

Island Beverages Maldives (IBM) has launched two new products under its new campaign, ‘TaZa Veshi’. The campaign will focus on cleaning up the effects of plastic pollution, promote responsible, disposal and recycling/re-using of its products and provide alternatives to minimize single use plastics. 

During a special ceremony held at Hotel Jen, Malé, chief guest, Tourism Minister Dr. Abdulla Mausoom launched the new products and was presented with a souvenir gift from Taza. Afterwards, Minister Mausoom addressed the services of TaZa products and commended the efforts in incorporating sustainable materials into producing their new products.  

The newly introduced products to its portfolio include TaZa 5G – 18.9L – and TaZa glass bottles in 2 sizes (500ml and 1000ml). They are made in a more sustainable way, providing the highest quality drinking water to the market while minimizing single use plastics. 

Founded in 2002, Island Beverages Maldives celebrates 20 years of exceptional service this year. With over 200 employees, they are the manufacturer and distributor of TaZa bottled water, which now has a 100% geographic coverage across the Maldives.  

According to IBM, the company is looking to increase its efforts towards becoming a more environmentally sustainable company. “The purpose of this event is to show what we are planning to do and what we have done to become more sustainable.” 

Customers can call 1619 to place orders, and all TaZa products are delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep.
