South Asian Travel Awards 2019 appoints Silver Partner

The South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) is the first ever regional Travel Award endorsed by Multi National Associations providing the Tourism sector of the South Asian Region with recognition towards their facilities and service excellence. The South Asian Travel Awards aims to encourage and raise service standards within the regions of the Tourism industry. The brand is one of its kind with affiliations from regional associations ensuring the process within a smooth and transparent procedure. The judging panel consists of high profile senior representatives selected from destinations with vast knowledge and background of the industry to assure an accurate and fair process. SATA is a Highrise concept.

After the unveiling event held in Sri Lanka last month with the Key Sponsors and Partners and announcing the key partners from Maldives, SATA team is proud to announce one more Silver Partner for SATA 2019. Mr. Mohamed Shamin, Director of Communications from the SATA Team signed with One Maldives.

One Maldives is a company based in the Maldives who specialize in the inception of International Merchandises into the country. The company is comprised by a group of independent entrepreneurs and they are affiliated with global suppliers and distribution companies introducing International Products to the organization, private and public companies, businesses and local consumers. One Maldives act as a leader of local business exchange within the Maldives who sustain among the countrys imported commodities in addition to its nourishment of economic dependence.

This prestigious award is scheduled to be held on the 19th and 20th September 2019 at Amari, Galle Sri Lanka. SATA 2019 will be held as a retreat with SATA Conversations, Grand Gala and Celebration. Winners will be announced on the Grand Gala on of South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) on 20th September 2019.

The South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) was launched in 2016 with the intention to provide brands across the regions travel and hospitality industry with a credible platform to be recognized for their outstanding achievements. As the first brand to celebrate a wide and encompassing spectrum of hospitality and travel in the South Asian region, SATA has received immense support from regional hospitality brands and organizations. In its fourth year, SATA 2019 has received over 500 nominations from a plethora of segments within the industry. With participants from 6 Destinations (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives) and endorsement from more than 17 Travel Industry Organizations and National Tourism Bodies, SATA has grown immeasurably over the past four years.
