BML transforms banking services in Male with new service centres

In line with BMLs strategic focus to provide better customer service and innovative products of the highest international standards, the Bank is transforming its banking services in Male by announcing the opening of new dedicated service centres in various locations.

A new dedicated Account Opening Centre and Loan Centre is planned to be opened in January 2020. All personal banking customers can open accounts and apply for loans at the new Centres.

A new Digital Branch in Majeedhee Magu is also planned to be opened in 2020. This branch will provide an innovative, state-of-the-art digital banking experience to customers. With these changes, the current premises of Majeedhee Magu Branch will be closed for services from 2nd February 2020.

Commenting on the changes to the services, BML CEO and Managing Director Tim Sawyer said, "We look forward to delivering improved quality of service with the opening of the new Account Opening Centre and Loan Centre. Together with our plan to introduce our Digital Branch, this transformation will truly enhance the banking experience for customers."

The new Account Opening Centre, Loan Centre, existing Customer Service Centre and Business Centre will cater to all non-transactional services. All branch transaction services including deposits and withdrawals in Male' will be centralized to Main Branch.

With a nationwide network of 37 branches across all 20 atolls, 50 Self Service Banking Centres, 115 ATMs, 277 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services, Bank of Maldives is committed to supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives.
