dTECh has launched Torqeedo engines to Maldives

dTECh has launched Torqeedo engines to the Maldives during the Maldives Marine Expo 2019 which was held from 23 25th October 2019 in Male.

Although the drive systems have only recently been launched in Maldives, Torqeedo has introduced 90,000 electric propulsion systems to the world spanning over 5 continents.

With this introduction the interest for the Torqeedo product had escalated and dTECh's anticipation to develop the demand in the market is rather high. Not to mention the growing awareness on  renewable energy and the protection of  very vulnerable environment. 

Torqeedo is the market leader for electric mobility on the water. Founded in 2005 in Starnberg, the company develops and manufactures electric and hybrid drives from 0.5 to 100 kW for commercial applications and recreational use. Torqeedo products are characterized by an uncompromising high-tech focus, maximum efficiency and complete system integration. The objective is simple, to offer a cleaner more sustainable alternative to fossil fuels. Reducing pollution for the benefit of Maldives but at the same time removing the need for people to purchase fuel, and maintain expensive servicing of equipment.

Torqeedo engines are used from Dinghies and kayak to small commercial vessels and yachts. Torqeedo offers outboards and inboards electric motors and hybrid drive systems ranging from 1 to 320 hp. There are also all sorts of functional and innovative accessories such as a very cool smartphone application, range extending generators, and solar integration. Designed for people that enjoy being out on the water with whisper quiet engines and no smelly fuel.
