Norwegian Jade Cruise to arrive in the Maldives with over
3,000 guests to Maldives on the 6th of December 2019 informs the Maldives
Association of Yacht Agents (MAYA).
An official of MAYA says that around 3,500 visitors will set
foot on the Maldivian soil from one of the largest cruise liners to anchor at
the Maldives and with the start of the cruise line season, big vessels will be
arriving to the Maldives weekly.
Launched in 2006, Norwegian Jade is the 2nd of Norwegian
Cruise Lines Jewel-class ships, together with Norwegian Gem, Norwegian
Jewel and Norwegian Pearl.
Via the Norwegian Edge project, the cruises cabins
have been refurbished; carpeting and furniture have been replaced; some
existing restaurants have been moved (Moderno Churrascaria) or expanded
(Cagney's), while new ones were added (O'Sheehan's).
Despite its age, Norwegian Jade holds its own among some of
the newer, larger, more flashy ships in the fleet.
