High end all-inclusive operator Club Med introduces a new style of holiday, ‘Zenventure’. The offering aims to combine and create an optimal balance of adventure and relaxation.

The company notes that the concept is based on the four core aspects of exploration & adventure, relaxation & mindfulness, design & luxury and culinary & indulgence, all of which combine to create a balanced, luxurious overall experience. From treetop yoga and reconnecting with nature on a jungle hike, to adrenaline fuelled watersports and swinging from a flying trapeze, Zenventure aims to create an experience fit for families and couples alike.

Zenventure will initially launch in the brand-new, Exclusive Collection, Club Med Seychelles eco-certified Resort on the private island of Sainte Anne at the heart of the Seychelles archipelago. Club Med further plans to roll out the offering across the Club Med portfolio including other Exclusive Collection resorts such as Michès Playa Esmeralda in the Dominican Republic, La Plantation d‘Albion and the Albion Villas in Mauritius, as well as the Finolhu Villas in the Maldives,

According to new consumer research commissioned by Club Med, over half of UK adults (51%) cited that what they desire from a holiday has now changed in light of COVID-19 and almost eight in ten (77%) are now looking for both, more adventure and more relaxation on their holidays.

Estelle Giraudeau, Managing Director, UK & Northern Europe at Club Med stated: “It’s hardly surprising that the travel ban has got the nation dreaming about all the exotic destinations and experiences they’d like to enjoy post pandemic.

“Our research shows we’re open to plenty of excitement and adventure, whether that’s staying in a water bungalow in the Maldives, walking along the Great Wall of China or drinking rum at a beach bar in the Dominican Republic.

“After a year like no other, we understand that people want that element of both zen and adventure and that’s why we have created the Zenventure holiday.”
