Maldives will be prominently featured on TripAdvisor website
in UK, Saudi Arabia, Russia, India, Italy and China as part of the promotion,
over the next six months.
Under the campaign, the natural beauty of the island nation,
and different activities offered in the country will be featured to potential
tourists, and will be advertised as a popular tourist destination.
With an audience of over 100 million viewers, 'TripAdvisor' is one of the largest travel websites in the
world that publishes
reviews of different travel-related products. The popular platform lists
hotels, restaurants and resorts from all over the world, and supports booking
via the website. TripAdvisor is available in 49 markets and 28 languages.
MMPRC said Maldivian tourism will flourish further through
similar campaigns. While the marketing firm has conducted 17 joint campaigns
this year, MMPRC has carried out fairs, roadshows, and global campaigns through
modern digital platforms.
