Travel UK has celebrated first year anniversary, this March 14, 2020.
This luxury all-inclusive resort is the first Heritance
property introduced to the Maldives by Sri Lankas Aitken Spence Hotels.
Located on a beautiful private island of Raa Atoll,
just 45 minutes by seaplane from Velana International Airport in Malé,
Heritance Aarah offers 150 villas including 26 intimate luxury duplex ocean
suites, 56 sunset ocean villas and 68 land villas ranging from beach villas to
pool beach villas, family beach villas and family pool beach villas.
Suresh Dissanayake, Assistant Vice President Sales and
Marketing at Aitken Spence Hotels Maldives, said, "Were able to achieve many
things during this short time. We will continue to be the market leader in
Premier All-inclusive segment in Maldives. Thank you everyone who supported us
during the last 365 days."
Guests can dine from six restaurants with flavours from
France and Italy to the Middle East, Sri Lanka, India, Turkey, Mexico and Japan
– and three bars including a space exclusively for Ocean Suite guests, a
poolside bar and an open-air rooftop venue.
Heritance Aarah was also acknowledged for its exceptional
cuisine offering in October, after the resorts chef team competed alongside
the best of international brands in the South Asian region to become Overall
Champion at the Culinary Art Food Expo 2019.
The resort will also offer facilities and activities such as
a dive and water sports centre, a range of excursions and adventures in
addition to a kids club. The resort further offers its guests various options
in the wellness aspect of a vacation.
Experience the IASO Medical Spa Program at Heritance Aarah. One
can feel stress just melt away at one of six treatment rooms set above tranquil
lagoon waters at their overwater spa, that features a sauna, steam room and
Jacuzzi.
Moreover, this property became the first resort in
the Maldives to win LEED Gold certification in September 2019, which is
awarded to resorts that save energy, water and resources; generate less
waste; and support human health.
The design of the resort compliments the policy of
sustainability by implementing components such as fuel saving generators,
energy saving LED lighting, water saving fixtures and energy efficient air
conditioning.
